End of world - predictions of qiyammah 21/12/2012

predictions given by nasa is there really the end of the world on 21/12/2012 ?

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of my brothers/sisters has asked this question:

There are so many predictions given by somany non muslim countrys in internet and through movie, what is the fact, we know the predictions given by allah in quran but as per predictions given by nasa is there really the end of the world on 21/12/2012
(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality
Answer:
End of time 2012
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31 Surah Luqman verse 34:
34      Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (Alone).
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 63:
63      Men ask thee (O Prophet (saws)) concerning the Hour: say "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone)": and what will make thee understand? Perchance the Hour is near!
The knowledge of when exactly the ‘end of the world’ or the ‘Hour’ or the ‘Day of Judgment’ will be established is known to none save Allah Subhanah, the Majestic Lord of the Worlds Alone!  This is one amongst the information the Lord Most Wise has not shared or disclosed to even His closest Angels or the noblest of His Messengers or Prophets!  None in creation, and I reiterate, absolute none in creation knows when the ‘Hour’ or the ‘End of the World’ will be established….this knowledge is safe and secure with the Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme  Alone
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 187:
187    They ask thee about the (final) Hour; when will be its appointed time?  Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone): none but He can reveal as to when it will occur.  Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth.  Only all of a sudden will it come to you. They ask thee as if thou wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most men know not."
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 42 Surah Shuraa verses 17-18:
17      It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in Truth and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct).  And what will make thee realize that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?
18      Only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it! Those who believe in it hold it in awe and know that it is the Truth.  Behold verily those that dispute concerning the Hour are far astray!
The ignorant amongst mankind seek to hasten the establishment of the Hour or the ‘end of the World’…. in their absolute ignorance and albeit arrogance they act as if they are eager in search of this inevitable ‘Hour’!!! Allah is our witness brother, those who sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day hold the establishment of this ‘Hour’ in absolute awe, and fear the consequences which will inevitably occur during it!!!
To claim that the year 2012 will be the ‘end of the Worlds’ or that the ‘Hour’ will be established is nothing but an absolute conjecture and guesswork of the ignorant.  This inevitable ‘Hour’ will be established exactly at the time the Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme Declares it to be established….and not even the noble Angel Israfeel who has been created to blow the ‘trumpet’ to signal the establishment of the Hour knows when this inevitable Hour will be!
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5527        Narrated by AbuSa'id al-Khudri
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "How can I be at ease when the one who will blow the trumpet (to signal the advent of the Hour) has put it to his mouth, inclined his ear, and bent his forehead, waiting to see when he will be Commanded to blow it!”
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah Saba verses 29-30:
29      They say: "When will this promise (of the establishment of the Hour come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?"
30      Say: "The appointment to you is for a Day which ye cannot put back for an hour nor put forward."
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),   one can be assured of never ever being misled;   but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan

Is December 21 2012 the end of the world?

How many of you have seen the Hollywood movie “2012” that was based on a prediction of Mayan civilization according to which the world will be ended on December 21 2012 because in Mayan calender there is no date after 21st December 2012. What will be happened to the world on  December 21 2012? Is it true that the world will be ended on this mentioned date? Lets explore some facts about the date of 21st December 2012.

Is December 21 2012 is the end of the world?

The date of  December 21 2012 has acquired global attention and the awe and worldwide deliberations around this day of Apocalypse have been nothing short of an epidemic. The Apocalypse or the Doomsday implies an end of the world and the date of  December 21 2012 is being considered by many as THAT day.
This belief takes its roots from the Mayan calendar, the Maya being a Meso-american civilization acknowledged for their art, architecture, mathematical & astronomical systems and for the only known fully developed written language of the pre-Columbian America.  The Mayan calendar is recorded as a carving on the Aztec `sun stone’ and is, therefore, sometimes also referred to as the Aztec calendar. The calendar has no dates after the  December 21 2012 and this fact has given rise to the prophecy that the world will end on this date.
Of course the prophecy is not shared by one and all and there expectedly are people – from the ordinary to scientists and astrologers who believe that  December 21 2012 will be like any other day and nothing unusual is going to happen on this day.  From this group of people who do not believe in the Doomsday prophecy, there are some who go as far to claim that 21st December 2012 is being deliberately and unduly capitalized upon by the `believers’ to gain either fame or money (or both) by way of selling books, ads, and the likes.

What is Mayan Calender?

Mayan Calendar
Image credit: Flickr insert screen name here
The `believers’ however claim that the Mayan civilization were obsessed with time-keeping and the Mayan calendar has been incredibly precise in terms of accurately predicting solar / lunar eclipses thousands of years into the future. That this accurate calendar mysteriously ends on  December 21 2012 does signify something – the end!

What Islam says about  December 21 2012?

According to Islam, there is no place of such predictions in our Life, only ALLAH knows what is going to be happened in the very next second. Also there are many signs that are yet to appear e-g, Sunrise from west, appearance of Jesus Christ, appearance of Imam-e-Mahdi and many other signs.

What Bible says about  December 21 2012?

Many scientific, literary and religious theories are also finding concurrence with the Mayan calendar.  For example, according to some algorithms of the Bible Code a large asteroid / comet will collide with the earth on  December 21 2012.

What NASA says about  December 21 2012?

NASA has also predicted that the sun will reverse its magnetic poles in year 2012 – en event which may mean that harmful charged particles blasting away from the sun are more easily penetrating the earth’s atmosphere (solar storming).  NASA however has not specified any particular date(s) for this event. As per numerology each number is associated with a corresponding letter. The date 12-21-12 reads as A-B-B-A-A-B.

21st December according to Hebrew Language:

Considering that the Hebrew language is read from right to left, this date would read BA ABBA. The Hebrew translation for BA ABBA is “Father comes / is coming”.
However, the people looking forward to celebrate X’mas and the New Year 2013 far outnumbers those who fear the end.

Hazrat Umar-e-Farooq (R.A)

Second Caliph ( 582-644 C.E ) Hazrat Umar Farooq (r.a) is the most
respectful personality in Muslim Ummah after Abu Bakr (r.a). He is
also one of the Companions (r.a) of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w), who
was given the reward of Heaven in the world by Prophet Muhammad
(s.a.w.w). He was born in the tribe of "Adi", a branch of Quresh, 40
years before migration of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w), from Makkah to
Madinah and 13 years after the incident of Aam-ul- Feel in 582 C.E.
His name was "Abu Hafs", a patronymic name of old traditions. He was
the strongest and brave one in all the Makkah. No body
in Makkah existed in His youth who could dare to fight with Him. But
after embracing Islam He was the most fair and just in ever. On 6th
year of Prophet hood by Muhammad (s.a.w.w), he embraced Islam. His
embracing Islam, is the most popular story of the Islamic history. He
was the one who took Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) and a small group of
Muslims in Kaaba to offer Namaz for the first time in history. The
wordings to Kuffars was: "If anyone want to make his children Orphan
and wife as a widow, do stop us!". The same words were heard by the
Kuffars again at the time of migration of Muslims to Madinah. Hazrat
Umar Farooq (r.a) earned the title of "Al-Farooq" (the one who makes
the clear difference between Right and Wrong) from the Prophet
Muhammad (s.a.w.w). He participated in all the battles of Islam with
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w). History notes that He donated his half of
the property when being asked for by Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) in the
way of ALLAH. Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) noted and said many times
that it looks, Umar speaks and Quran is bestowed upon. Few examples of
ALLAH's rule are; Hijab, offering 2 prayers as "Nafal" at
"Baab-e-Ibrahim" in Kaaba, solution for the prisoners of Badr, not to
offer Duua on "Munafiq" grave etc.... Hazrat Umar Farooq (r.a) passed
his great Caliphate of approximately 10 years after the death of
Hazrat Abu Bakr (r.a). His Caliphate is the most popular and memorable
Caliphate according to fair and just amongst all others. A Jew named
"Abu-Lolou-Feroz" inserted a dagger in His back, while He was offering
the Fajr prayers to Muslims in the position of prostrating (Sajdah).
Jews kept the name of a stone in name of their partner who martyred
Hazrat Umar Farooq (r.a) as "Feroza" (a sky blue like stone usually
been wore in the form of
a ring in finger. Hazrat Umar Farooq (r.a) breathed his last on 26th
Dhul-Hajj, 23 Hijri. He is buried next to the side of the Prophet
Muhammad (s.a.w.w). Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w): 1. I see
that devil either from humans or jinn, runs away from Umar. (Tirimzi)
2. I saw in a dream that I was given a bowl of milk which I drunk and
remaining I gave it to Umar. (Tirimzi) 3. No doubt, ALLAH has issue
truth, on the tongue and in the heart of Umar. (Tirimzi) 4. I saw a
dream that I am in the Heaven, there I saw Rameesa (my quilt aunt) and
I heard someone's footstep, I asked: who is this?. I was answered: it
is Bilal and I saw a palace with a handmaid standing in front of it, I
asked: whose palace is this?. She said: Umar bin Khattab's. I wished
to see it from inside but, Oh Umar!, I divided my attention from your
shame. Hazrat Umar (r.a) said: My father and mother be sacrificed upon
You, should I ponder from Your saying?. (Bukhari) 5. If some else
Prophet should have been proposed
by ALLAH after me, would have been Umar bin Khattab. (Tirimzi)

DECEMBER 21, 2012 ! DOOMSDAY WHEN? QAYAMAT / PRALAY KAB?

It is the news which is constantly troubling people as to what will
happen on December 21,2012?
Will the world really come to an end as the Maya civilization calendar
is going to end on that date?
The calamities in Japan are the signal to the world coming to an end or what?
And many more questions are bothering common people, to which I have
tried to answer from my prospective.
The Holy Quran assimilates knowledge of this and that world but does
not precisely talk about the year or day for the doomsday.
According to the Hindu Mythology the last ruler of the world will be
the Kalki Avtaar. But to bestof my knowledge there is no mentioning of
the year or date, except for the description of the last ruler.
It is only a prediction of humans and predictionsare mere calculations
which may have errors, and only God is perfect.
It is in the Seventh chapter of Mahabharat it is the Holy word of Lord
Krishan that the time of the world is divided into four segments and
the time is in calculations to the number of years as:
Prathan Yug (First Segment) 432000 years.
Dyapar Yug (Second Segment) 864000 years.
Tritiye Yug (Third Segment) 1296000 years.
KalYug (Forth & Final Segment) 17280000 years.
And for the last Yug (Segment) Lord Krishan said, "Only 5000 years
have passed of the last segment," therefore if we hypothetically
assume that Lord Krishan was about 10000 years ago then 5000 + 10000 =
15000 years…thus the prophecy of the world coming to an end on
December 21, 2012 or April 13 2036. A Russian scientist has calculated
to the fact that on April 13 2036, Earth may face one of the most
dangerous asteroids called Apophis. This will cause a global
catastrophe and the end of mankind and all life on the planet.
Theseprophesied articles which are evidences to the end of Humanity
only prove to the end of human brain trail! (Reference to the article
is Новая дата конца света
www.vesti.ru(http://www.vesti.ru/only_video.html?vid=316936) a Russian
websit, and discussed on Global Astrological Сoncilium for catastrophy
predictions on Facebook group of Elena Felice De Bacci.)
The interesting fact to the calculations providedby Lord Krishan is
mind blowing ̶ only for the people related to numerology and learning
for the common ones.
Just do the following calculation on your own:
Prathan Yug (First Segment) 432000 years. 4 + 3+ 2 = 9
Dyapar Yug (Second Segment) 864000 years. 8+ 6 + 4 = 9
Tritiye Yug (Third Segment) 1296000 years. 1 + 2 + 9 + 6 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9
KalYug (Forth Segment) 17280000 years. 1 + 7 +2 + 8 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9
Therefore the total of all the Yugs (Segments) is9 ̶ the best Number
of Numerology.
Further if we calculate, there are four Yugs (Segments) which is in
calculation as 9 x 4 = 36= 3 + 6 = 9.
These are the calculations of the Almighty which human brains cannot
understand till the doomsday.
So, just live without the fear of death which is the final verdict of
the only God and He is the only One to pen your date for that.

It's not sure that December 21-2012 end of The World day .. But
must remember it can be your end of The World day and remember the

Nasa Scientists : End of The World

Dec. 21, 2012, won't be the end of the world as we know, however, it
will be another winter solstice.
Contrary to some of the common beliefs out there, the claims behind
the end of the world quickly unravel when pinned down to the 2012
timeline.
Below, NASA Scientists answer questions on the following 2012 topics:

Question (Q): Are there any threats to the Earth in 2012? Many
Internet websites say the world will end in December 2012.
Answer (A): The world will not end in 2012. Our planet has been
getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible
scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.
Q: What is the origin of the prediction that the world will end in 2012?
A: The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet
discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe
was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the
doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012 and linked to the end
of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayancalendar at the winter
solstice in 2012 -- hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21,
2012.
Q: Does the Mayan calendar end in December 2012?
A: Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease
to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist
on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count
period but then -- just as your calendar begins again on January 1 --
another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.
Q: Is NASA predicting a "total blackout" of Earth on Dec. 23 to Dec. 25?
A: Absolutely not. Neither NASA nor any other scientific organization
is predicting such a blackout. The false reports on this issue claim
that some sort of "alignment of the Universe" will cause a blackout.
There is no such alignment(see next question). Some versions of this
rumor cite an emergency preparedness message from NASA Administrator
Charles Bolden. This is simply a message encouraging people to be
prepared for emergencies, recorded as part of a wider government
preparedness campaign. It never mentions a blackout.
Q: Could planets align in a way that impacts Earth?
A: There are no planetary alignments in the nextfew decades and even
if these alignments were to occur, their effects on the Earth would be
negligible. One major alignment occurred in 1962, for example, and two
others happened during 1982 and 2000. Each December the Earth and sun
align with the approximate center of the Milky Way Galaxy but that is
an annual eventof no consequence.
Q: Is there a planet or brown dwarf called Nibiru or Planet X or Eris
that is approaching the Earth and threatening our planet with
widespread destruction?
A: Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet
hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet
X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012,
astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade,
and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously, it does
not exist. Eris is real, but it is a dwarf planetsimilar to Pluto that
will remain in the outer solar system; the closest it can come to
Earth is about 4 billion miles.
Q: What is the polar shift theory? Is it true that the Earth's crust
does a 180-degree rotation around the core in a matter of days if not
hours?
A: A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. There are slow
movements of the continents (for example Antarctica was near the
equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to
claims of reversal of the rotational poles. However, many of the
disaster websites pull a bait-and-switch to fool people. They claim a
relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth,
which does change irregularly, with a magnetic reversal taking place
every 400,000 years on average. As far as we know, such a magnetic
reversal doesn't cause any harm to life on Earth. Scientists believe a
magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few
millennia.Q: Is the Earth in danger of being hit by a meteor in 2012?
A: The Earth has always been subject to impacts by comets and
asteroids, although big hits are very rare. The last big impact was 65
million years ago, and that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Today NASA astronomers are carrying out a survey called the Spaceguard
Survey to find any large near-Earth asteroids long before they hit. We
have already determined that there are no threatening asteroids as
large as the one that killed the dinosaurs. All this work is done
openly with the discoveries posted every day on the NASA Near-Earth
Object Program Office website , so you can see for yourself that
nothingis predicted to hit in 2012.
Q: How do NASA scientists feel about claims of the world ending in 2012?
A: For any claims of disaster or dramatic changesin 2012, where is the
science? Where is the evidence? There is none, and for all the
fictional assertions, whether they are made in books, movies,
documentaries or over the Internet, we cannot change that simple fact.
There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions madein support
of unusual events taking place in December 2012.
Q: Is there a danger from giant solar storms predicted for 2012?
A: Solar activity has a regular cycle, with peaks approximately every
11 years. Near these activity peaks, solar flares can cause some
interruption of satellite communications, although engineers are
learning how to build electronics that are protected against most
solar storms. But there is no special risk associated with 2012. The
next solar maximum will occur in the 2012-2014 time frame and is
predicted to bean average solar cycle, no different than previous
cycles throughout history.
